Understanding that healthcare needs are as unique as the individual, their philosophy in rehabilitation is steeped in an eclectic approach utilizing the best of allopathic and alternative methods to maximize personal functional outcomes. Their approach on healthcare is rather unique in that it combines the best of chiropractic and physical therapy in one location that creates a synergy to focus on one goal: quality care that results in a faster recovery from a musculoskeletal injury. Realizing that one method of treatment does not always work for every individual, co-treating with medical doctors and surgeons is also a part of their multimodal philosophy.
Dr. MacKenzie continues post-graduate studies focusing primarily in the area of orthopedics and other musculoskeletal injuries. He has completed his post-doctorate studies in sports injuries and will sit for the final board examination to be certified as a chiropractic sports physician in November, 2008, and will be completing his certification in whiplash and spinal traumatology in October of 2008.
